Jay has 28 years of architectural experience and earned his B Arch from Roger Williams University in 1997. A registered architect in Rhode Island and an accredited member of the Congress for New Urbanism, he has worked with firms like William D Warner Architects, Newport Collaborative Architects, and Robinson Design Inc. before consulting independently in Santiago, Chile, where he lived for two years immersing in his wife’s culture.
Originally from Van Nuys, California, and raised in Connecticut and Maine, Jay enjoys life’s adventures with his wife and two boys. A James Taylor fan and "The Amazing Race" enthusiast, he and his son are already planning their future run on Season 56.
