Domeny is a Newport, RI, native and received her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Mount Ida College in 2015, where she also earned several student awards and a place in the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society. After completing her thesis in barrier-free design, Domeny continued her studies of inclusive art-centric environments as an intern designing exhibits at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. Since returning to Rhode Island, she transitioned to architectural design and gained experience working on projects from schematic design through construction before joining the CDA team in 2021. Domeny is especially passionate about serving clients during initial planning and schematic design.

When she’s not designing, Domeny enjoys reading, spin classes, and spending time with friends. A self-proclaimed cheese enthusiast, she never skips her favorite meal of the day: breakfast. Domeny loves crisp fall weather but would also happily settle for sunny and 70 degrees year-round. If she could have any superpower, she’d choose to freeze time—perhaps to fit in some travel, with Spain at the top of her list.
